Many animals, both domestic and wild, experience fear and distress due to fireworks on the Fourth of July. The loud noises and bright flashes can trigger anxiety and panic, causing them to run away, hide, or exhibit other others signs of distress.
Here’s a thought for you: Instead of buying fireworks, how about buying a couple of bags of food to donate to an animal shelter? Make a difference instead of a noise.
