Here’s some true kinship with animals inspiration for you - what’s new in the shop, on the blog, podcast, how we can work together and how you can score my free teachings!
Gift cards are now available for the animal lovers in your life! Cards are memorable and unique, a gift that suits all animal lovers - including yourself. You’ll want to keep these gift cards in mind with Mother’s Day right around the corner because you know your nuturing parent would love nothing more than to hear from an animal family member.
In the Shop you’ll also find my Beginning Animal Communication Workshop Video. Because there are so many different ways to practice animal communication and many are not codified, in the video I speak about what animal communication is NOT in my practice - i.e. magic or a replacement for a medical diagnosis. This, I feel, is a way that helps me keep My Promise to you.
Check out my website for 1:1 guidance in a one-time consultation or an ongoing collaborative arrangement to:
Address the relationship you have with domesticated animal family members
Bridge the space between you and animals so that you are able to better understand each other
Being intentional in your relationship with animals by disengaging from colonized expectations
“My work with Janet helped me become aware of the patterns I’ve had with animals all my life and made me me realize not all were as helpful as I thought they were!”
~Jeanine

Every week you’ll find the blog updated with aspects of my teachings. I offer these free to you because I want to nurture the practices of community and collaboration as best I can in a society that values power-over, competition and individualism.
If you are new to my work and this resonates with you, please visit the blog and accept those teachings. An important aspect of true kinship with animals is unlearning what colonized society says about how you ‘should’ treat animals. As you begin to disengage from those limitations you then have the space, energy and clarity of mind to learn how to relate to animals in agency and from a new place of understanding.
Thank you for being a part of the true kinship with animals community!

About me…..
I am an animist, podcaster, intuitive practitioner and mentor identifying as she/they and respectfully acknowledge I am supported and sustained on the traditional and ancestral territory of the Séliš (Salish) and QÌispé (upper Kalispel or Pend d’Oreille) People who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.
As a practitioner of true kinship with animals, I pledge to recognize the descendants and practices of the original Peoples, Lands and Animals. I will not knowingly appropriate their wisdom, nor will I knowingly speak over their voices. When I have participated in colonialism practices, I will be accountable by publicly acknowledging the harmful practice, apologizing, and doing the needed reflection and self work to do better in the future.
For 30+ years I have facilitated clear conversations between animals and people. In my work I encourage people to recreate a bond with animals by disengaging from colonized approaches and relating in true kinship.
I am cheerfully owned and managed by a multitude of angel animals and several houseplants.
