How do you nurture your dreams to deepen your relationship with animals? What are your favorite ways to hone, tend and nurture your skills? How do you practice your new skills without wondering if there’s something you’re missing?
Nothing like starting off with a lot of questions, right? 😂 😮
There are so many ways to learn a new skill. You can watch videos, read books, keep a journal, work with a study buddy, attend live and/or virtual classes…..the list goes on.
When I initially learned animal communication - my forerunner to true kinship with animals - those were the ways most accessible to me, so that’s what I did. In hindsight, I realize how CHALLENGING it was for me to learn that way.
I often felt blindsided by the multitude of practical considerations that always arose - like commuting, parking, finding a sitter for the animal family, finding supplies that were called for, affordability, convenience, class availability and limitations.
Plus, being neurodivergent, when taking classes I faced struggles with executive functioning, sensory overload and processing, a different learning style and sensory overload and remembering what I was expected to remember.
So many of the challenges needed to be resolved before I could take the class, at least in my mind. They often felt insurmountable and sometimes even stopped me from taking a class I longed to take.
If there had been a program like Kindred around at the time, I would have snapped it up in a nanosecond!!
Kindred is the subscription program I pioneered to help folx deepen their relationship with animals and relate to animals from a new place of understanding.
As far as I know, it is the only program if its kind around.
Being a Kindred community member helps you reach your dream of connecting with animals in YOUR way and YOUR time by clearing your obstacles or at least making them more manageable.

About me…..
I am an animist, podcaster, intuitive practitioner and mentor identifying as she/they and respectfully acknowledge I am supported and sustained on the traditional and ancestral territory of the Séliš (Salish) and QÌispé (upper Kalispel or Pend d’Oreille) People who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.
As a practitioner of true kinship with animals, I pledge to recognize the descendants and practices of the original Peoples, Lands and Animals. I will not knowingly appropriate their wisdom, nor will I knowingly speak over their voices. When I have participated in colonialism practices, I will be accountable by publicly acknowledging the harmful practice, apologizing, and doing the needed reflection and self work to do better in the future.
For 30+ years I have facilitated clear conversations between animals and people. In my work I encourage people to recreate a bond with animals by disengaging from colonized approaches and relating in true kinship.
I am cheerfully owned and managed by a multitude of angel animals and several houseplants.
