Hello folx,
Do your friends and family think of animals as pets or kin?
Growing up, my family didn’t have ‘pets’ because they were considered dirty, nuisances and pests. When we would visit my grandmother (who had dogs) I was always in trouble for playing with them, hugging and kissing them.
Life is changing, I’ve changed and true kinship has come into the picture. Everyday I talk to people who are ready to move into true kinship with animals but feel isolated because they don’t have anyone they feel ‘gets’ true kinship.
That’s rough, for sure. It can put a dent in your confidence and your willingness to keep going if folx are actively unsupportive.
That’s one of the reasons I created Kindred, the online membership community for true kinship. I was looking for a community for myself where I felt safe, supported, encouraged and with like minded folx who believe animals are kin and not ‘just an animal’.
What Folx Say About Kindred
“I’ve been here since the beginning and it is really opening my eyes and heart. I just love being here!”
Sandy
“I am always touched by your kindness and [true kinship] insight that comes through your words/practice.
Christine

I’m cautious about communities - those I create and those I participate in. As a neurodivergent I want to make sure neurodiversity is embraced, including positive, useful and kind feedback if asked.
When you join Kindred you get an intentionally and carefully cultivated community that is welcoming, supportive and sees animals as kin. You’ll be with folx who understand true kinship and work on bringing it into the world.
Come and try it for a month and see how you like it! With 3 levels of participation to choose from, you can join at the level that is most aligned with your dreams and goals. Starting at only $15.00 USD monthly there are 3 levels to choose from. Try it for a month and notice the difference it makes for you.
