Here’s a basic fact of life:
A consequence of living in a colonized society is we’ve been programmed to react to everything from a sense of urgency.
In other words, it’s not you creating that urgency but you responding to an ingrained expectation society has placed on you.
There’s a couple of other facts I mention in a recent blog post. If you’re curious here’s the link.
I’m opening the opportunity for a small group of like minded folx to join me in a live group call that delves into this topic - how we’re unconsciously influenced by the expectations society places on us in our relationship with animals and what we can do about it.
Because this kind of work is meant to be done in community and not alone.
The Deets
Who: It’s for folx who are ready to be in a new way with animals but don’t know where or how to start.
What: What’s The Rush?
When: Saturday, March 23, 10:00 AM MOUNTAIN
Where: Zoom - information sent upon registration
Cost: $39.00 USD
How: This is a place to hold safe, deep and genuine conversations about the influence society has on us and our relationship with animals. If desired, each person has a chance to share what’s currently unfolding for them on this topic. Remember, change begins by being present, it’s not necessary to share for change to begin. If it’s welcomed, I might ask questions to deepen the conversation. This is a place where your story is witnessed, not fixed or taken away. What’s expressed here is confidential.
Maybe this sounds scary to some. Same, I’m with you on that, for sure. And here’s the thing: In a group call you’re in a supportive community that GETS what you’re experiencing, so that you’re not trying to manage complex experiences alone. With community support you begin to see what’s possible for you.
Let me know if you have questions. I’d love to see your face on the call!
Very great change starts from very small conversations, held among people that care.

About me…..
I am an animist, podcaster, intuitive practitioner and mentor identifying as she/they and respectfully acknowledge I am supported and sustained on the traditional and ancestral territory of the Séliš (Salish) and QÌispé (upper Kalispel or Pend d’Oreille) People who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.
As a practitioner of true kinship with animals, I pledge to recognize the descendants and practices of the original Peoples, Lands and Animals. I will not knowingly appropriate their wisdom, nor will I knowingly speak over their voices. When I have participated in colonialism practices, I will be accountable by publicly acknowledging the harmful practice, apologizing, and doing the needed reflection and self work to do better in the future.
For 30+ years I have facilitated clear conversations between animals and people. In my work I encourage people to recreate a bond with animals by disengaging from colonized approaches and relating in true kinship.
I am cheerfully owned and managed by a multitude of angel animals and several houseplants.
