Hello folx,
I’ve had a long-time-coming significant realization - I am not superwoman and can’t do everything! UFFDA!
For years I’ve been juggling 1:1 sessions, writing, the podcast, the blog, the website, the newsletter, researching and creating the Reciprocity Project and Kindred, the online true kinship with animals membership group and recently I added the Bling! collection.
Additionally, my guides have called me to write a book about how living in a colonized society affects our grieving process for animal family members.
Not being superwoman, changes are being made:
📢 Beginning immediately 1:1 sessions are available for current clients only, I’m no longer accepting new clients. 📢
📢 Beginning 4/1/25 the newsletter will be coming out monthly on the first Tuesday. Paying subscribers will have access to the latest on the book, including tidbits from new chapters, progress updates and adventures and misadventures of being a first time author. I sometimes work alongside the Tarot as I’m writing, so I’ll be sharing some pulls with you too. As a paying subscriber you’ll be the first to know what’s up with the book as well as have access to monthly teachings that have been previously published. 📢
📕 Speaking Of The Book 📕
One of my goals in writing this book is to help humans come to a new understanding of the connection we and the animals have with each other. An underlying question is “when is it time to claim our grief for animal family members, grieving in a way that meets the animals’ and our needs instead of being pressured into acting from traditions & customs that serve society’s discomfort with grief?”

Building Reciprocity
For the past 6 months I’ve been exploring the place of reciprocity in the work I do, and wondering why I have felt compelled to practice it.
I’ve concluded reciprocity is to mutual support as true kinship is to animals.
Reciprocity is created through generosity, not transactions, just as true kinship is created through relationship-with and not power-over.
In colonized society, a person is expected to work hard, produce more, then work harder to be even more productive. Success is based on the perpetuation of that concept, as well as other folx interpretation of it.
Meh. I’m done with that.
I am who I am and how I choose to show up in the changing world. My goal is to elder well, so I die well, so that I ancestor well, a core lesson I learned from mentor Kelley Harrell of Soul Intent Arts.
Both reciprocity and true kinship are integral facets in my chosen path.
My online work is energetically & freely given so you see animals with different eyes, relating to them as kin & not 'just' an animal. If you’ve been affected, inspired or encouraged by it, let’s work together in reciprocity.
With reciprocity, you give when you can, and when you can’t, you don’t. Quite simple. Much gratitude for working together this way!
