Above is my concept of the book cover for my upcoming book, inspiring me to write daily. Not the finished cover, but it motivates me along!
I am currently working on a new nonfiction book aimed at bridging the gap between human and animals’ understanding of each other. My goal is to create a guide that helps readers foster deeper awareness and better communication with the animals in their lives.
I would love for you to help shape this work. Acknowledgement
I respectfully acknowledge the teachings and wisdom behind true kinship with animals is from Indigenous people whose lives, teachings and lifestyles which were annihilated by the colonizers only to later be appropriated into colonized culture.
I am not amplifying those Indigenous voices and teachings but using colonized language to express what was appropriated from them and my colonized understanding of that.
I acknowledge the descendants of the original peoples, witnessing their history and stories. I respect their connection to the animals and to the earth.
