I so appreciate you spending some of your incredibly valuable time with me exploring the world of true kinship with animals - systems are changing, times are changing and I’m glad to be in this changing time with you. ✌️ Below you’ll hear about our commonalities amidst our uniqueness and a glimpse in the TKWA Bling! Collection.
When you like, comment, save and share you help folx find their way here AND spread the true kinship with animals word. I can’t do it without your help - thx!
Everyone I’ve witnessed on the true kinship path is experiencing it in their own way, in their own time.
Myself included.
And, frankly, every now and again I find that simply damn frightening. 🫣🫣🫣 It makes me catch my breath, gnash my teeth and in all honesty, there are times I want to scurry back to the comfort of conformity.
I think it’s the individual uniqueness and freedom of true kinship that intimidates me. In the back of my brain, that old ‘but what if I do it wrong??!!’ tape is always running, and because it’s familiar, it’s comforting.
Each one of us is unique, yet within our uniqueness we share commonalities that both attracts us to true kinship and connects us like birds of a feather. For instance:
Each one of us is irreplaceable
We are learning to show up as our authentic selves.
We share support and guidance, giving as asked, receiving as needed
We are expressing a near and dear truth in the best way we can
We all carry old tapes
We are all looking to upgrade
We’re all different and similar
True kinship is not prescriptive, nor is our response to it. Does it help to be in community as you’re walking this unique path? I believe so, after all, we are not islands unto ourselves.
If you’re searching for a true kinship community, give this Substack community or the online membership community Kindred a try. Can they help you? Give one or both a try and see for yourself.

This newsletter is energetically and freely given so that we see animals with different eyes, relate to them through a new place of understanding and reimagine a new way to be with them.If you have found a home in the world of true kinship with animals, and would like to contribute by either sharing or in financial reciprocity, thank you, and here are the links where you can do so. Reciprocity is always optional and welcomed. ❤️❤️❤️
