That’s what this When It Comes To Cats Live Event is all about - how your cat(s) might have herded you toward true kinship with animals.

Here are some signs you’ve been herded. Have they:

• demanded attention from you?

• ignored you?

• scratched or bit you?

• blocked your path?

• slept on you?

• meowed at you?

This live event is great for cat owned folx who want to gather with other cat owned folx to share stories, community and conversation about how your cats herded you towards true kinship with animals.

If you’re walking in the company of cats, I invite you to join the call. Bring your cat stories, your questions and leave with some ideas and inspiration for your cat-led life. You’ll get a taste of the support you gain being in community with other like-minded folx.

Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive the call information. The event is 60 minutes, happens in real time with summary & recording sent to attendees afterwards.

I’m glad to see you here in the new version of the true kinship with animals substack community! As a paying member, you get a behind the scenes look at my own true kinship journey, particularly through my eyes as a first time author. My hope is you’ll find these snippets relatable to your own journey, accepting the context and inspiration.

So far I’ve learned:

• Yes indeed, I am capable of making a fresh pot of coffee for inspiration and then forgetting about it, sometimes more than once a day 🤦🏻‍♀️

• The book doesn’t write itself, I have to sit down and write……which is different from talking about writing. Huge lesson for me 🤦🏻‍♀️

• Every chapter I write is the best piece that’s ever been written, until I hit the send button 🤦🏻‍♀️

• I write lots of run on sentences 🤦🏻‍♀️ ⬇️

But seriously………The book’s premise is grieving animal family members in a healthy way that honors the relationship, the animal and you, while living in a colonized society where grief traditions reflect society’s discomfort with grief and an interruption to colonized life.
