You may have noticed I have been expanding my work to include community gatherings. Perhaps you’ve been wondering why.
In a nutshell, true kinship with animals is community, it’s not solo work. As a matter of fact, the attempt to go solo is the antithesis of true kinship.
Yet it makes sense why we attempt this: society teaches us to be hyper individualistic.
I am creating a community of like minded folx who gather in support and solidarity with each other. You treat animals as kin, not ‘just an animal’, and you honor and respect their agency. After a lifetime of living in a society that believes humans have dominion over animals, you are ready to change and disentangle from that fallacy.
Perhaps this feels odd to you, I know it did for me when I first attempted to be more community minded - especially as a neurodivergent and someone who is becoming more introverted as I age.
The truth is, it’s in community where true kinship blossoms with conversation, encouraging you to blossom into every day experiential learnings.
Let me tell you a couple of ways you can ally with the communities I’m integrating into my work.
They are the Kindred Community and the Live Group Calls.
If you haven’t ventured over to the Kindred Community or the Live Group Calls yet, I want to share with you how they can help you move forward on your true kinship journey. Either will be a comfortable starting point if you’re intrigued but are nervous or not sure about how to get started.
Start by exploring the Live Group Calls. These are live, small group calls that open space for you to explore and co-create conversations in community about new ways to relate with animals. They occur every 4-6 weeks. By the way, there’s one coming up Tuesday, April 23 at 6PM MOUNTAIN “Feeling on the Edge”.
As you feel more comfortable and want to go deeper, check out Kindred Level 1. Here you have anytime access to the growing collection of monthly:
✓ Teachings (Audio and Written)
✓ Q&A Sessions
The first community gathering this month is the Q&A session on April 9. Subscribe before then for your seat at the table
The clarity and encouragement you receive from the Live Group Calls. and/or Kindred Level 1 Community will enable you to walk your true kinship journey in the way that is most comfortable and in alignment with your lifestyle and needs.
Both of these programs give you the opportunity to explore true kinship and see for yourself how they can expand your relationship with animals.
By the way, Kindred also has 2 more levels that will take you farther into the true kinship path. It’s never too late to get started!
Reimagine a new way to be with animals.

About me…..
I am an animist, podcaster, intuitive practitioner and mentor identifying as she/they and respectfully acknowledge I am supported and sustained on the traditional and ancestral territory of the Séliš (Salish) and QÌispé (upper Kalispel or Pend d’Oreille) People who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.
As a practitioner of true kinship with animals, I pledge to recognize the descendants and practices of the original Peoples, Lands and Animals. I will not knowingly appropriate their wisdom, nor will I knowingly speak over their voices. When I have participated in colonialism practices, I will be accountable by publicly acknowledging the harmful practice, apologizing, and doing the needed reflection and self work to do better in the future.
For 30+ years I have facilitated clear conversations between animals and people. In my work I encourage people to recreate a bond with animals by disengaging from colonized approaches and relating in true kinship.
I am cheerfully owned and managed by a multitude of angel animals and several houseplants.
