Here’s what I know: There are a lot of folx who are feeling caught between how society treats animals (as animals) and how you treat them (as kin). Janet Roper
I am an animist, podcaster, intuitive practitioner and mentor who identifies as she/her/hers and currently lives on Salish land in Montana
For 25+ years I have facilitated clear conversations between animals and people where I encourages people to expand their bond with animals by disengaging with hierarchical approaches and relating in true kinship.
I am cheerfully owned and managed by one cat, Raven, a multitude of angel animals and several houseplants
Because you are feeling caught between how society sees animals (as animals) and how you see them (as kin).
Because you know animals are kin, not “just an animal". You know animals have their own experiences and agency and that is not dependent on human validation.
Because you want to show up for animals from the fullness of your authentic self.
What to expect
I send out a newsletter every couple of weeks with updates on the true kinship work I do, updates on events I offer, the True Kinship With Animals podcast, and such.
And sometimes, in-between, I write because I find a topic interesting, or I get a nudge something needs to be said.
